Paris Day 4

Today was a good day.  It wasn’t as cold as it has been the past 3 days.  Here is a picture of the windows of our apartment and the outside door.

I found the apartment on line on a website call vacationinparis.com we are very happy with the apartment and the location.  Of course as most European apartments it is small but I was not surprised by it and it was cheaper than a hotel (because it is the off season) especially since there are four of us.  We went to the bridge of love locks so that my daughter could put one on that she did for her and her boyfriend (she paid 20 euros for a lock (young love))

We then walked to Le Bon Marche which is a department store in Paris (a very expensive store).   We had coffee in the store and the coffee came with two hearts of sugar

We then walked to near the Eiffel Tower to see it at night but we were early so we had dinner at a cafe it was my husbands birthday today so we had a very expensive meal at a restaurant where my daughter was able to legally order wine for the first time in her life and she also tried escargot for the first time.  We then walked to the Eiffel Tower where I took the typical night time photo.

We then walked back to the apartment.  I must hand it to my fellow travellers it was cold and a long walk (I’m the best with directions so they were all following me) back but we made it pretty quickly without any complaints except for the occasional “are we there yet” from my mom.
